APSVAP.VAP v2.22d2 was developed to resolve a problem whereby a print queue would not be published if the queue's printer responded to the NBP lookup with more than one NBP type. The previous versions of APSVAP used the wildcard "=" for the NBP type parameter of the packet. APSVAP v2.22d2 replaces the "=" with the string "LaserWriter". This problem will occur in printers that use the HP Jet Direct card, or the Paintjet XL300 and some Laserjet printers. To install: (a) If the print VAPs are already installed on the server: Copy APSVAP.VAP to SYS:\SYSTEM. Down and Re-boot the server to load the APSVAP v2.22d2. Otherwise: Copy APSVAP.VAP to SYS:\SYSTEM as APSVAP.HLD. Configure the print services per the manual. DOWN and Re-boot the server to load the VAPs. ÿ
